The Deco BE63, sold as Deco 7 Pro BE10000, is a tri-band Wi-Fi 7 mesh with four 2.5 Gbps WAN/LAN auto-sensing ports and a USB port on every unit. TP-Link splits BE10000 as 5188 Mbps on 6 GHz, 4324 Mbps on 5 GHz and 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz, and gives 5,800 sq ft for the 2-pack. The listing's claim of a 10G WAN/LAN port does not appear anywhere in TP-Link's specifications.

Caveats
- The listing claims a 10G WAN/LAN port; TP-Link's specifications list only 2.5 Gbps ports for this model
- 320 MHz width is limited to the 6 GHz band and subject to regional restrictions, per TP-Link's own footnote
- One Ethernet cable ships regardless of pack size, and WireGuard is absent from the VPN list
This is the two-unit kit of the Deco BE63
The listing's own tables give the model number and manufacturer part number as Deco BE63(2-Pack), UPC 840030712692, colour White, two packs, item weight 3.33 pounds. TP-Link documents the unit on its Deco BE63 page, whose package-content block covers 1-pack, 2-pack and 3-pack versions of the same unit.
The listing's included-components field for this 2-pack gives two Deco BE63 units, one RJ45 Ethernet cable, two power adapters and a Quick Installation Guide. TP-Link's package-content block and its BE63 datasheet each list one RJ45 cable for every pack size.
Each unit measures 4.23 x 4.23 x 6.93 in (107.5 x 107.5 x 176 mm) on TP-Link's specifications tab, and the listing's item-dimensions field and TP-Link's BE63 datasheet give the same inch figures.
The listing promises a 10G port that TP-Link does not list
This is the discrepancy to settle before you buy. The listing's first bullet says the system has a future-ready 10G WAN/LAN port, and its backhaul bullet says tri-band Wi-Fi 7 and 10G Ethernet work together. TP-Link's own hardware block for the Deco BE63 lists four 2.5 Gbps ports per unit with WAN/LAN auto-sensing, and lists no 10 Gbps port at all.
TP-Link's overview page agrees with its own specifications tab, headlining a 2.5 Gbps WAN/LAN port and showing a panel that reads 4x 2.5 Gbps WAN/LAN Ports, and TP-Link's Deco BE63 datasheet lists four 2.5 Gbps WAN/LAN auto-sensing ports per unit and no 10 Gbps port. Nothing in the TP-Link documents read explains the listing's wording, so ask TP-Link before you plan a 10 Gbps wired run around this kit.
TP-Link's footnote, repeated in the datasheet, says only one port can serve as WAN at a time, and the overview footnote adds that 2.5 Gbps internet needs a compatible plan. There is also one USB port per unit, listed by TP-Link as 1x USB Port with FTP, media and Samba server functions and by the datasheet as one USB port; the listing describes it as USB 3.0, and neither TP-Link document gives a version.
How BE10000 splits across the three bands
TP-Link publishes the three numbers behind the BE10000 label separately: 5188 Mbps on 6 GHz and 4324 Mbps on 5 GHz, both as 802.11be, and 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz, which the specifications tab labels 802.11ax. The Amazon bullet and the datasheet print the same three figures. The specifications tab reads IEEE 802.11ax/n/b/g on 2.4 GHz, while the datasheet lists 802.11b/g/n/ax/be on 2.4 GHz, so the two TP-Link documents differ on whether 802.11be is listed for that band.
The capacity block lists Tri-Band, 2x2 MU-MIMO, OFDMA and 6 Streams, with four high-performance internal antennas. The listing's antenna field also says four, and its title says 6-Stream, so the listing and TP-Link agree on both counts for this model.
The 320 MHz channel width TP-Link lists comes with a stated limit: the overview footnote says 320 MHz is only available on the 6 GHz band, is subject to regional restrictions and requires client support, and the datasheet also limits 320 MHz to 6 GHz. A further note says this Deco may not support all the mandatory features ratified in the IEEE 802.11be specification.
The coverage and speed claims, and the conditions on them
Coverage is a figure where the listing and TP-Link agree. Both say up to 5,800 sq. ft., and TP-Link's feature panel labels that as the 2-pack figure, so the number in the listing is the number TP-Link publishes for this pack size.
A footnote on TP-Link's page describes one test setting for the BE63: the test was conducted in a 4,600 sq. ft. two-story villa with five bedrooms and a drywall interior, and the Deco BE63 was tested with 2x2 MLO-compatible clients.
The headline throughput claim also carries conditions. TP-Link's footnote says Wi-Fi 7 clients need to support Multi-Link Operation and the 6 GHz band to reach up to 9.5 Gbps when connected to the 5 GHz and 6 GHz bands at the same time. The 200-device claim is footnoted as based on laboratory test data.
Security, VPN and the paid half of HomeShield
Wi-Fi encryption is listed as WPA-Personal, WPA2-Personal and WPA3-Personal, with a footnote that WPA3 requires clients to support it. Network security covers an SPI firewall and access control, and the HomeShield block lists real-time IoT protection, a malicious site blocker, an intrusion prevention system, DDoS attack prevention and a home network scanner.
There is one guest network for each of the three bands. VPN support is listed on both sides for OpenVPN, PPTP and L2TP/IPSec; WireGuard is not listed for this model, so check the protocol you need against that list.
TP-Link's HomeShield footnote for the BE63 says HomeShield includes both basic and advanced features and that advanced features require a paid subscription. The pages read here do not say which feature sits in which tier, so confirm that with TP-Link before you count on one.
Environment, power and the warranty wording
Environment limits on the specifications tab and the datasheet are operating temperature 0 to 40 degrees Celsius, storage minus 40 to 60 Celsius, operating humidity 10 to 90 percent and storage humidity 5 to 90 percent. The specifications tab lists CE, FCC and RoHS certification; the US datasheet lists FCC and RoHS.
The datasheet gives a maximum power draw of 27.5 W per unit without the adapter, and a power adapter rated 12 V 2.5 A output. It places a reset button at the bottom and a WPS button on the back of each unit, and says the BE63 is compatible with all Deco models.
On warranty, the listing field says 2 year manufacturer, while the Quick Installation Guide supplied with the listing, a general Deco guide rather than a BE63 document, says TP-Link warrants the hardware against defects in materials and workmanship when used normally, for a period that depends on the local service, from the date of original retail purchase, and directs you to tp-link.com/en/support for the period, policy and procedures. Check that page for your country rather than relying on the listing field.
