Vivi ACE07 Step-Through 26 x 4.0 Fat-Tire Electric Bike

The ACE07 is Vivi's step-through bike on 26 by 4.0 inch fat tyres, with an aluminium frame, a coil-spring fork with 100 mm of travel, lockout and preload adjustment, Shimano 1 by 7 gearing, 180 mm disc rotors, a headlight, a front fender and a rear rack rated for 25 kg or 55 pounds. Vivi's page lists the model as ACE07, with APSVI11 alongside it.

The manual's packing list names the frame, saddle, rear rack, front wheel, front fender, the battery, two pedals, a toolkit, the charger, two keys and the user manual. The listing says the bike arrives 85 percent pre-assembled; Vivi's help centre links an assembly video and the manual.

The manual's parameter page lists a twist throttle, a speed sensor, a battery lock with two keys and front fork suspension. The step-through frame means you do not need to swing a leg over a top tube, which is the practical reason to choose it.

Rated power agrees; peak and top speed are stated differently

The listing bullets and the ACE07 manual both give a 750W rated brushless motor, and the listing and Vivi's page both give 90 Nm of torque. Vivi's page and the Amazon title describe the peak as 1500W. That is one of the more consistent power descriptions across this model's documents.

Top speed is not consistent. The listing bullet says 19.8 mph. The manual's parameter table says a maximum of 22 mph. Vivi's specification page gives a regular speed of 20 mph and a maximum of 25 mph, and labels the bike e-bike Class 2 without explaining how that label relates to the 25 mph figure. Check your local rules before riding faster than 20 mph.

The manual's maximum gradient is 15 degrees and its operating temperature is 32 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit. Vivi's page lists an IP54 rating; the manual's riding and charging precaution pages have no text layer and were not read, so follow them for wet-weather limits.

A 720Wh battery and a 3A charger

Every source gives a removable 48V 15Ah battery, which is 720Wh, with a battery lock and two keys. The listing says it uses 21700 cells. Range is 40 to 60 miles on the listing; Vivi's page gives up to 60 miles with pedal assist, 28 to 34 miles on the throttle and 34 to 60 miles with assist, without stating the conditions.

Charging time is four to six hours on the listing and Vivi's page, and five to six hours in the manual's table, from a 54.6V 3A charger. Plan on the manual's longer figure. For planning trips, the throttle-only band of 28 to 34 miles from Vivi's own page is the safer number to use.

Vivi's page says the bike is SGS certified to UL 2849 and UL 2271, and also lists GCC and CPSC 1512. No certificate or file number appears in the sources read. Ask Vivi for the SGS certificate naming the ACE07 if you need proof for a building or insurer.

Weight, fit and load

Vivi's page and the manual both give a maximum load of 150 kg or 330 pounds, and the listing agrees. The bike weighs about 33 kg or 72 pounds with the battery according to both Vivi's page and the manual. Amazon's item weight field says 94.6 pounds, which sits close to the 95-pound package weight on Vivi's page rather than its bike weight; ask Vivi if the difference matters to you.

Rider height is 160 to 200 cm on Vivi's page and 5 foot 3 to 6 foot 5 on the listing. The geometry table gives a seat height of 82 to 98 cm, a standover of 77 cm or 30.3 inches and a wheelbase of 120 cm. Because it is a step-through frame, the standover figure matters less for mounting than the minimum seat height does.

The assembled bike is about 190 by 69 by 120 cm, and the package weighs 43 kg or 95 pounds on Vivi's page. Plan for a heavy carton and a space large enough to assemble a bike nearly two metres long.

Check which brakes are fitted

Vivi's component list describes double mechanical disc brakes with 180 mm rotors, but the same list names front and rear hydraulic brake calipers. The manual's brake-adjustment page describes adjusting the brake cable and also tells you to stop riding and take the bike to a specialised shop if oil leaks from the disc brakes.

The documents we read do not settle which type this bike has, so ask Vivi before your first service. Look at the bike when it arrives: if there is a brake cable to the caliper, follow the manual's cable adjustment; if there is fluid hose, do not open it yourself. The manual suggests replacing pads after about 1,000 km or when braking performance drops.

One-year cover on core parts, with conditions

The listing promises a one-year warranty. Vivi's help-centre policy gives 30 days for returns and exchanges, one year on the frame, fork, battery, motor, controller and charger, and three to six months on the handlebar, meter, rear shock, hub and shifting system. It says bikes from authorised dealers such as Amazon are covered, though another paragraph refers other channels to their own terms.

The policy covers the original owner only, supplies replacement parts rather than labour, will not pay return shipping on defective parts and requires shipping damage to be reported within seven days of delivery. It carries an exclusions list; read it before relying on any part being covered.
