Vivi M026SHUL 26-Inch Hardtail Electric Bike

A 26-inch hardtail on 1.95-inch tyres with 21 gears

Amazon lists this bike under model number AMAK00019, which Vivi's store uses as the product code for the VIVI M026SHUL and which Vivi's user manual pairs with M026SHUL in its parameter table. Vivi's full specification page describes a 6061 aluminium frame, a coil-spring front fork with 60 mm of travel, Shimano 3 by 7 gearing, 160 mm mechanical disc brakes with motor-cutoff levers, 26 by 1.95 inch puncture-resistant tyres and fenders; Vivi's shorter page adds an LED headlight. A rear rack is optional.

Vivi lists the box contents as the pre-assembled bike, the removable battery, a charger, fenders, a saddle kit, pedals, a tool kit and a user manual. The manual's packing list on page 39 sets out the parts and the two keys; check the carton against it before assembly.

Riding modes on Vivi's page are throttle, pedal assist, normal bike, assisted push and cruise control, with a five-level cadence-sensor pedal assist and both a half-twist and a thumb throttle. Vivi's page calls it a hardtail electric mountain bike.

Peak power and top speed appear several ways

Every source agrees on a 500W rated motor, and the manual describes it as a brushless gear motor. The peak is where they part. Vivi's full specification page says 1000W peak with 65 Nm of torque, Vivi's shorter M026SHUL page says 750W peak, and the Amazon bullets say 749W peak. We report all three and do not choose; ask Vivi which peak rating applies to the bike you are sent.

Top speed follows the same pattern. Vivi's specification page gives a regular speed of 15.5 mph and a maximum of 21.7 mph, headlined as 22 mph, and the manual's table also says 22 mph. The shorter Vivi page says 20 mph and the Amazon bullet says 19.8 mph. The manual adds that range varies.

Vivi's specification page labels the bike e-bike Class 2. It does not explain how that label relates to the 21.7 mph maximum it also prints, and the manual pages we read do not assign a class. Check your local rules before riding it on paths with speed or class limits.

The maximum load differs by 20 kilograms

Vivi's specification page and the Amazon table give a load capacity of 150 kg or 330 pounds. The parameter table in Vivi's own manual gives the M026SHUL a load of 130 kg, which is about 287 pounds. That is a meaningful difference for heavier riders or anyone carrying cargo, so plan around the lower manual figure unless Vivi confirms the higher one in writing.

Weight is 25 kg or 55 pounds with the battery on Vivi's specification page, 23.5 kg in the manual's table, and 61.9 pounds in Amazon's item weight field. The manual gives the assembled size as 1730 by 650 mm with a height of 1010 to 1060 mm, and a package weight of 27.5 kg; the specification page gives 28 kg.

Vivi's page gives a rider height of 160 to 195 cm, a seat height of 80 to 107 cm and a standover of 74 cm, for riders 16 and older. The manual's page 27 covers standing height over the frame, and its table gives a maximum gradient of 15 degrees.

A 374Wh battery and one named charger

The battery is 48V 7.8Ah, which is 374.4Wh, removable and locked with one of two keys; the manual, both Vivi pages and Amazon agree on that. Range is quoted by mode on Vivi's specification page and Amazon: 22 to 25 miles on the throttle and 44 to 50 miles with pedal assist, with no rider weight, speed or temperature stated.

The manual lists a 100 to 240V charger with a 54.6V 2A output and four to six hours of charging, and says to use only the FUYUANDIAN charger model FY1505462000. It says charging should not exceed twelve hours. The charging-precaution pages were not read for this guide, so follow them in the box.

The manual gives an operating temperature of 32 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit and tells owners to keep the battery dry and away from rain, and to power off and contact Vivi if the battery or charger is immersed. Vivi's specification page lists an IP54 rating.

SGS and UL 2849 are named, but no certificate was found

Vivi's full specification page lists its certification as SGS, UL 2849 and 2271, GCC and CPSC 1512. The Amazon bullet says the bike is certified to UL 2849. No certificate or file number appears on either Vivi page, and the manual pages read make no certification claim.

If you need proof of UL 2849 certification for a building, landlord or insurer, ask Vivi for the certificate issued by SGS before you buy and check that it names the M026SHUL or AMAK00019.

Two warranty documents with different part periods

Vivi's help-centre warranty gives 30 days for returns and exchanges, one year on the frame, fork, battery, motor, controller and charger, and three to six months on the handlebar, meter, rear shock, hub and shifting system. It says bikes bought from authorised dealers such as Amazon are covered, but another paragraph says purchases in other channels follow their own warranty terms, so keep your Amazon order record.

The manual's after-sales table is different: twelve months on the battery, motor and controller; six months on the meter, throttle, brake levers, key switch, headlight, wiring, sensor, shifters, chainring, charger, pedals, crank and seat parts; one month on brake pads, chain and tyres; and none on the toolkit and fender. Ask Vivi which document governs, especially for the charger.

Both documents cover the original owner only, and each carries its own exclusions list. The help-centre policy supplies parts rather than labour, Vivi will not pay return shipping on defective parts, and shipping damage must be reported within seven days of delivery.
