The plainest cordless model Waterpik lists
Waterpik calls this one the Cordless 1100 and its product page is headed WF-30CD010, which is the manufacturer part number on the listing. The listing's own model number field reads WF-30CD, and both refer to the same white handheld unit with the reservoir mounted on the handle rather than on a base.
The feature list is short by design. Waterpik lists one flossing tip, a pressure control system with two settings, a reservoir capacity of up to 45 seconds, a waterproof body that may be used in the shower, an ergonomic non-slip hand grip and a battery recharge indicator. The listing says the included tip is the Precision tip.
Physically, the listing gives the reservoir as 6 fluid ounces and the unit as 3.75 by 2.5 by 11.75 inches at 1.01 pounds. Filling is through a flip top on the reservoir with lukewarm water, and the instructions say to refill as needed rather than expecting one fill to cover a long session.
Three weeks per charge, and the charger you supply
The battery figure is the number to check on this model, and it is easy to skim past. Waterpik's page gives the battery as 4.07 watt hours and says a full charge lasts up to three weeks of typical use, and the Instructions for Use repeat up to three weeks in their charging table.
Waterpik asks for a four-hour charge before first use. The charge light reads flashing white as the battery approaches low, blinking red when it is fully depleted, glowing while charging and solid when fully charged, staying lit until the USB cable is unplugged.
The charger itself is not in the box. Waterpik's safeguards call for a user-supplied USB-C wall charger, safety certified to IPX4, with a rated output of 5.0 volts at 3.0 amps maximum, and the page says the USB-C cable charges from a laptop, car, power bank or wall adapter with the adapter not included.
Using it, and the charge port cover
Pressure is a two-position switch marked low and high, with off at the zero position. The instructions say to use low on first use. Neither the instructions nor Waterpik's page lists a timer or a pacer, so the reservoir's 45 seconds sets the session length.
The instructions make a point of the charge port. Unplug the charging cable and make sure the port cover is in place before you fill the reservoir and while you use the flosser, and once charging is finished, replace the cover so it sits flush with the handle. Contacts on the cord, the unit and the adapter should be clean and dry while charging.
Tips press in until they click and come out with the eject button, and the instructions caution against pressing that button while the unit is running. They also tell you to keep the unit upright during use, and print a short technique section best read in Waterpik's own document.
Tips, cleaning and hard water
The WF-30 Series replacement table gives three months for the Orthodontic tip OD-100E, the Pik Pocket tip PP-100E and the Plaque Seeker tip PS-100E, and six months for the Precision tip JT-450E and the Tongue Cleaner TC-100E. With only one tip in the box, extra tips are an additional purchase from Waterpik or a retailer.
Never immerse the unit. Before cleaning, disconnect the charging cable and replace the port cover, then wipe the exterior with a soft cloth and a mild non-abrasive cleanser. The reservoir comes off and is top-rack dishwasher safe with the heat cycle off, and Waterpik recommends removing and cleaning it weekly.
Hard water gets a white vinegar and warm water run-through every one to three months with the proportions printed in the instructions. The instructions also say not to use iodine, saline or water-insoluble concentrated essential oils, and set a usage limit of five minutes in any two-hour period.
Temperatures, storage and the sealed battery
Waterpik gives an operating ambient range of 41 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit and a charging range of 41 to 95 degrees, which is narrower than the operating range and worth knowing if the unit charges on a sunny windowsill. Short-term storage including transport runs from 14 to 140 degrees, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
For longer storage Waterpik recommends a cool dry place between 50 and 77 degrees, and says to charge the unit fully before storing it for six months or more. It also says not to expose the battery or the appliance to excessive temperatures, and that users must not dismantle the flosser or alter its internal wiring or protective systems.
The lithium-ion battery is not replaceable. Waterpik says it should be removed only at end of product life for recycling, that the process is not reversible and voids the warranty, and that the unit must not go into household garbage or recycling bins.
One-year limited warranty and its exclusions
The cover here is a limited one-year warranty. Water Pik warrants the product to the original consumer against defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the date of purchase, asks for the original receipt and, if requested, the whole product, and replaces at its discretion. The listing's warranty field and Waterpik's page both say one year.
The exclusions follow Waterpik's usual pattern: accessories and consumable parts such as tips are not covered, use with improper voltage voids the warranty, and cover does not apply if the product was abused, misused, altered or damaged after purchase or used with unapproved accessories. Waterpik also states it does not guarantee the availability of replacement parts, repair services or repair information.
The instructions carry a binding arbitration clause administered by the American Arbitration Association with Colorado as the venue, plus a waiver of class actions. Read that section in Waterpik's own document before you buy if arbitration terms matter to you.
