The F2 is Windhorse's step-through city bike on 26-inch wheels, with a high-carbon steel frame, a front suspension fork, a suspension seatpost, dual disc brakes, a Shimano seven-speed drivetrain, a 3.5-inch LCD, a headlight and brake light, fenders, a chain guard and a rear rack. Windhorse's FAQ describes it as a bike for paved use.

Windhorse's box list is the bike, 85 percent pre-assembled, the battery with two keys, a charger, pedals and hardware, a toolkit, and the manual with a warranty card. The listing's included-components field names the battery, charger, power cable, tool kit and manual.

Windhorse's page and the listing describe five riding modes with three pedal-assist levels. The manual's safety page says the bike ships with two unique keys, so keep the spare somewhere separate from the bike.

A 350W motor and a 20 mph top speed

Windhorse's page, the manual and the listing agree on a 350W motor and a 20 mph top speed. Windhorse's page and the listing describe a 750W peak, and the page gives 35 Nm of torque; the manual's specification table lists only 350W. None of the sources we read assigns the bike a US e-bike class.

The manual's specification table gives a product size of 172 by 62 by 120 cm, an e-bike weight of 60.63 pounds or 27.5 kg, a package of 135 by 23 by 70 cm weighing 73.74 pounds, and a maximum load of 330 pounds or 150 kg. The listing and Windhorse's page repeat the 60.6-pound weight and 330-pound payload.

Rider height is where they part. Windhorse's product page says 5 foot 1 to 6 foot 3. The Amazon bullet says 5 foot 4 to 6 foot 6, and Amazon's minimum user height is 162 cm. Shorter riders should take the maker's figure as the starting point and check seat height with Windhorse.

468Wh battery, a slow charger and modest range

The removable battery is 36V 13Ah, which the listing gives as 468Wh. Windhorse and the listing quote 25 to 30 miles on the throttle and 35 to 50 miles with pedal assist, and the manual's specification table repeats the same bands.

The manual lists a 42V 1.5A charger and a charging time of six to seven hours. Windhorse's product page does not give a charging time, so plan on the manual's figure, which makes this an overnight charge rather than a quick top-up.

The listing's notes say to charge fully before the first ride and never to turn on or operate the bike while the charger is plugged in. The manual's battery and charging pages were not read for this guide, so follow the printed instructions in the box.

IPX5 and IP67 claims, but the manual says avoid water

Windhorse's page describes the battery as UL-certified, IPX5 water-resistant and fitted with a smart battery-management system, and the listing calls it an IPX5 waterproof battery and the display IP67. No page we read names the UL standard number, a certifying body or a certificate, so this guide cannot confirm UL 2849 or UL 2271; ask Windhorse for the certificate if you need it.

The manual is much more cautious than the marketing. Its safety page says not to ride in wet conditions because the bike may slide and wet conditions may damage the electronics and void the warranty, and its warning list says the bike is not waterproof, water damage is not covered, and riding in wet conditions is very dangerous.

The warranty policy repeats that water damage is excluded from the controller, charger, display, lights, motor and battery cover. If you commute in rain, that combination of an IPX5 claim and a no-wet-riding manual is the most important thing on this page.

The one-year headline hides three-month motor and battery cover

Windhorse's product page and FAQ say every F2 has a one-year warranty covering the frame, motor and battery, and the Amazon warranty field says one year. Windhorse's own warranty policy sets different periods: 12 months on the frame, kickstand, saddle, pedals, brake levers, brake discs, chain, bell, charger, display and throttle; 6 months on tubes, tyres, controller and lights; and only 3 months on the motor and the lithium battery.

The policy replaces a battery for faults such as no charge storage or capacity below 70 percent, and requires it to be sent to the after-sales office for testing. Labour is free only for the first month from purchase. After 30 days, you pay shipping both ways and labour for full-bike repairs, while Windhorse covers eligible parts. Ask Windhorse in writing which terms apply before you buy.

The manual's warranty page describes a 30-day satisfaction return through your original authorised purchase channel, with a return authorisation requested from [email protected] within 30 days, proof of purchase, all accessories in the original box, and return shipping and restocking fees borne by the customer for non-quality returns. The policy page names a 5 percent restocking fee.

Age and use limits in the manual

The manual's opening page asks riders under 18 to get parental permission, but its own warning list says the bike should never be used by children under 18. Windhorse's product page shows no minimum age. Treat it as an adult bike and read both lines before buying one for a teenager.

The same warning list says never to exceed the 330-pound maximum load, caps speed at 20 mph and notes that additional insurance may be required. The manual's FAQ page lists error codes 04 to 10; the manual's troubleshooting page explains them.
